A couple weekends ago I spent a few hours with the other girl I am mentoring this quarter hanging out and wandering around Pike Place Market. We did a little shooting too. 
I don’t think you can go to Pike Place Market and not spend some time with the infamous gum wall. Here is a picture she took of me - isn’t it one of the coolest pictures you’ve ever seen of me?
Just for fun here are two very different Susan pictures - one from her wedding in Ocean Shores and one of us last summer.
First - loved the light on the boardwalk as we headed out to shoot on the beach at sunset:
Second - after the fireworks last July - this is great fun for me to look at because between the two of us (well three if you count Eli) I’m pretty sure there’s an extra 50 pounds or so in this picture…
Oleta definitely gets the award for the bravest bride of 2007. She climbed a tree for her engagement pictures, braved some odd August rain for pictures on wedding day, and spent an afternoon with me after her wedding climbing on over old buildings, swinging from poles, climbing more trees, and laying in dirty grass. My gut tells me her maternity session this fall will be memorable - for now here are a few favorites from that session that I don’t think ever made the blog:
I suppose the streak had to end sometime - after nearly three weeks of continuous blogging (19 posts in 18 days to be exact) I got busy doing other things and fell off the blogging bandwagon. The good news though is that in the week and a half since I’ve posted I’ve been out creating lots of fun stuff to share so May should be a busy month for blogging. Today marks the first anniversary for Mike and LaRae - here is a slideshow of images I loved from their wedding at Tacoma’s Landmark Convention Center
